Grains and vegetables can give you essential fiber, which is extremely helpful in cleansing the body. Arteries can be clogged from too much fat and protein; this is what slows down your system and gives you that sluggish feeling after eating. Raw foods are excellent at cleaning the system; not over cooking food is better for your body and your immune system. The foods that are most beneficial include: onions, mushrooms, cabbage, tomatoes, celery, broccoli, carrots, leafy greens, and baby sweet-corn. Be creative; experiment with raw foods. Juicing It is possible for you to liquidise or pulp almost any vegetable or fruit, making it into a drink that is delicious, very filling, and is excellent for cleaning your system. Because uncooked vegetables and fruit contain so many vitamins and minerals, and have a high liquid content, they are ideal for re-hydrating and cleansing the body.
